OpenSplat: Much faster now ⏩

OpenSplat, which brought Mac training to 3DGS has received a big update, now allowing users to train with MPS backend with GPU acceleration. While it took Michael Rubloff (Founder and Managing Editor at Radiancefields.com) roughly 15 minutes to train to 2,000 steps when it first released, it is now taking him ~3 minutes to train on his Apple M2 laptop.
